This pair of prints celebrates the 21st Anniversary of Oasis' second album, (What's The Story) Morning Glory? The edition has been produced and published by Oasis photographer Michael Spencer Jones. The first 50 front cover prints in the edition of 195 came with a matching back cover print, a small number of which we are able to offer here in this set. Only a few of these pairs now remain.
Printed on Hahnemühle paper, every front cover print comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity and is embossed with artist's mark.
(What's The Story) Morning Glory? was released in 1995, at the heart of the 90's, and the album cover is one that a whole generation of music lovers will associate with a band at the height of their youthful powers.
The iconic cover was shot on location in Berwick Street, Soho, by Michael Spencer Jones on 27th July 1995 at around 4h30am, and the street, though one of the busiest in London, was completely free of vehicles at the time of the shoot. The person seen to the left in the background is producer Owen Morris, holding the master tape of the newly finished album; a magical moment in time.
