Stephen Wrights iconic portrait of The Smiths outside Salford Lads Club in 1985 has been held within the National Portrait Gallery's Collection for 19 years and you can now see it hanging alongside other icons of British music in Room 28 of the Gallery, as part of their free, permanent displays.
