Last week Karl Ferris, the original psychedelic photographer and the man behind some of the most important record covers in music history graced the Hypergallery print room with his presence. Here he is signing some prints for our clients.
Known to many as 'The Icon With The Nikon', Karl became (as he put it) 'victim' for a day in front of the lense. We are very lucky to have Hypergallery artist - and famous rock photographer - Scarlet Page, on our doorstep. She invited us over to her Henley town centre studio to take some shots of Karl with her own favoured Nikon, before coming over to the print room to document the signing.
It was also a bit of a reunion, as they had met once before. Scarlet had been only two years old and Karl had been visiting her mother, Charlotte - renowned fashion model who had worked with Karl often in the 1960s.
Charlotte even joined us for a scrapbook moment.
