Published in 2010, this limited edition silkscreen print is a wonderful piece of visual art for fans of Jean Michel Jarre's pioneering electro synthesiser music. He is celebrated for his seminal albums such as Equinoxe and Oxygene, as well as for his stunning light and laser shows.
We are delighted to be able to offer this artwork by renowned French artist Michel Granger, whose original painting, Le Trac, became the cover artwork for Equinoxe, an extraordinary album, back in 1978.
Equinoxe was soon followed by a concert on the Place de la Concorde, Paris on July 14 1979. The concert attracted one million people, becoming Jean Michel Jarre's first entry in the Guinness Book of Records for the largest crowd for an outdoor concert. Quite an achievement.
This edition was printed in silkscreen and archival inkjet onto a beautiful Hahnemühle paper. Each print is numbered and signed in pencil by the artist.
