ROCK LEGENDS LIVE: RESIDENCY AT HYPERGALLERY, HENLEY-ON-THAMES

Lost Media Photography of Icons of Rock – on view until 2 November 2025
Henley-on-Thames, September 2025

Hypergallery is proud to host Rock Legends Live, a residency showcasing the electrifying photography of Zoe Wilson, whose priceless rediscovered archive of 1980s live rock reportage has captivated audiences across the UK. Running now until 2 November 2025, this special exhibition brings together Zoe’s acclaimed collections — Rock Legends, Rock Pimp, and Rock Vandal — in our intimate gallery setting.

Shot on 35mm film during the late 1980s, Zoe’s images remained unseen for nearly 40 years before being revealed to extraordinary acclaim at the 2025 Henley Festival. Her work, often described as 'lost media transformed into fine art', captures the raw energy, charisma, and power of the biggest rock icons of our time, including Prince, Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, A-ha, Bruce Springsteen, and more.

Each piece is presented as a signed, limited-edition artwork, available in striking formats that range from traditional giclée prints to cutting-edge new media works, such as glitter gloss canvases and iridescent screen prints. Collectors, curators and superfans have described the pieces as deeply nostalgic and emotionally powerful, with some guests to the Henley Festival brought to tears during Zoe’s debut. All works are available to acquire through Hypergallery during the residency, with editions strictly limited.

Alongside the gallery display, Zoe’s limited-edition luxury book, THAT SHOT, will also be available. The book features highlights from her Rock Legends archive, each copy accompanied by a rare signed giclée print.

Hypergallery is thrilled to present Zoe’s work in Henley. Her archive represents not just music history but a cultural moment rediscovered. The residency allows audiences to experience these images in a way that feels both intimate and timeless, and Zoe will be here in person to meet clients and collectors.

For Zoe, the residency signifies a milestone.

“Henley Festival was a revelation, as it was where I first met Emily in 2023, and this year, as I exhibited for the first time, I saw people connect so emotionally with my previously unseen images; it was overwhelming. This is Rock Legends Live’s first residency. It couldn’t be more fitting that it is at Hypergallery – where it all began, and I will be there in person on select dates to discuss my work and meet collectors and superfans alike — and of course every piece is available to own, including some rare first editions.”
