Paul Weller first burst onto the national music scene in 1977 with The Jam, a band he had formed four years earlier as a teenager in Woking with his friends Rick Buckler and Bruce Foxton.

The Jam disbanded in 1982 and Paul went on to form The Style Council, before embarking on a solo career that resulted in his most successful album 'Stanley Road' in 1995.

As the icon of BritPop, it was fitting that Paul Weller turned to the the icon of Brit Pop Art, Peter Blake, to create the cover for this album. Now immortalised as a limited edition print, this image features in the permanent collection of The Tate Gallery in London.
