work to scale against six foot person
R. Crumb originally did this artwork for the 1978 LP, The Klezmorim: Streets of Gold.
Robert Crumb’s counterculture guru character, Mr. Natural AKA "The Natch", was the spiritual advisor constantly dispensing sage advise and articulating pithy maxims on the pages of Crumb's ZAP and later comics.
In this print the "Natch" stands to the left with his wife, checking out the Klezmorim (depicted as klezmer musicians from the old country) as they jam on deck in New York harbour with the statue of liberty and the quintessential comic Manhattan skyline in the background.
The prints are numbered and signed by Robert Crumb.
